A Day in the Life of...

NEW STUFF!
So I heard through the grapevine that I missed about 180 of you last 1st Saturday Lol! I was so sad to have to miss our last monthly event, but even Wonder Woman gets sick sometimes. I realized that in almost eight years, I've only been absent from a handful of our 1st Saturdays. Only one person has never missed a 1st Saturday event. (That's ninety-six events just in the last eight years. WOW!) Any guesses who?????????? Hint: The guy with purple on his head. By the way... surgery update. Phil has transitioned out of his sling. His shoulder recovery is going well. Other than his moans & groans about over doing things. (Like gardening this afternoon for a few hours. After Phil came in, he ran for the ice pack & hit the couch.) Did somebody mention a 1st Saturday party? Hope to see all of you TODAY YAY!
TODAY... 1st SATURDAY WORKSHOP & DANCE EVENT: JUNE 1st: OUR DANCE TEAM PERFORMS!
Our dance team has had a few great performances recently... at Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association & Westchester Elks Lodge! We almost shared one of the videos in this newsletter, but decided that you need to come see it live instead! We are very proud of the team's commitment & hard work. They are ready to entertain.
Join us for our fun, monthly event. Usually 150 to 200 dancers come out to share their passion. COUNTRY 2-STEP, NIGHTCLUB 2-STEP, & WEST COAST SWING WORKSHOPS (must be at least Intermediate level), followed by SOCIAL DANCING! Private lessons may be available. See link above (1st Saturday Monthly Event) for details. Ages 18 & up.

Here is where we get to pick on our readers, instead of each other! Last month, as I mentioned, I was home sick & missed our 1st Saturday event. So I called Phil during the WCS workshop, to say, "Hi" to everyone. And I wanted to remind him to promo the newsletter, & to tell the funny toothpaste story. While I was on the phone with Phil, Justin (who was in class) texted me, to tell me to stop interrupting class Lol! So I told Phil, he told the class, & everyone laughed! Great moments, even though I was home & not feeling well.

Private lessons may be available with Phil or myself. You will have fun, & learn stuff too! Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays. Various venues. Let us know if interested. Privates may also be split between 2 to 4 people (maybe more). Ask for the $5 discount per DVD when you schedule.

We have two DVDs available, Beginner & Intermediate WCS. You can purchase them with a credit card in person (cash or check is fine also), or through our web store! More info about payment & options under Highlights.
PUNCH CARDS
We have punch cards available for purchase: ten classes for $100 w/ the eleventh class FREE! Punch cards do not expire. We do take credit cards in person or through our web-store.

*DANCE DVD'S!: Payment & Options: Dance DVSs are $35 each (plus tax if credit card payment). Credit card payments are available in person, (or cash or check in person is fine also), or through our web store. If order your DVDs through our website, you have the option to click the "pick up at class" option (to avoid shipping charges), or you can have them shipped.

* All of our classes are drop-in (some do run in a series). No partner needed for any of our classes. No prior dance experience needed for Beginner classes. Two left feet are welcomed; we will introduce you to your right foot! (Phil wanted credit for that last comment.)
* Once you have moved up from our Beginner level classes to Intermediate and then later Advanced, you are welcome to continue taking our Beginner classes for FREE! We want to encourage you to continue working on your basics; that is most important to develop a strong foundation. The best dancers usually are the ones who have worked on their basics for years. When you keep taking Beginner classes, you are also helping the new students to progress faster, since they get to rotate & dance with more experienced dancers.
